  1. Calexico and Iron & Wine have announced a new collaborative album, Years to Burn, and shared its first single, "Father Mountain." Years to Burn is due out June 14 via Sub Pop.

My Firsts is our email interview series where we ask musicians to tell us about their first life experiences, be it early childhood ones (first word, first concert, etc.) or their first tastes of being a musician (first band, first tour, etc.).   3. Rose Elinor Dougall is releasing a new album, A New Illusion, on April 5 via Vermillion. Now she has shared another song from it, "Take What You Can Get," an immaculately produced propulsive string-backed track.
