  2. Sharon Van Etten is releasing a new album, Remind Me Tomorrow, tomorrow via Jagjaguwar. Last night she stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! to perform two songs from the album: "Seventeen" on the broadcast show and "You Shadow" as a web-exclusive.
  3. Weyes Blood (aka Natalie Mering) has shared a brand new song, "Andromeda." Right now it's just a standalone single on her new label Sub Pop, but it's expected to also be found on her next album, reportedly due out this spring.
  4. "Why can't you remember me? I've seen it all before" goes the refrain of "(10 Good Reasons For Modern Drugs)" the pulsating opener of It Won/t Be Like This All the Time, the taut and emotional new record from The Twilight Sad.

The Chills have been on something of a roll since 2015's bold Silver Bullets, which was swiftly followed by the following year's deluxe reissue of the suitably titled Kaleidoscope World (1986). NowMartin Phillips' crew appears to have crafted the most light-hearted, optimistic of the legendary Dunedin, New Zealand band's recent line-up offerings.
